The live session for IMGs applying to CaRMS ran on September 17: how applications are reviewed, then the CV and the personal letter, section by section. Experience that is not written as evidence does not read as experience; the session shows you how to write yours so it does. The recording comes with four files: Written as Evidence, the 35-page workbook filled in during the session; What the Programs Ask, a 115-page report built from all 875 program descriptions in the 2027 first iteration, with every family medicine prompt in the country quoted in full, the largest programs and every differing IMG stream in ten other disciplines, and the word caps, addendum rules, AI rules and scoring criteria each program publishes; a CV example; and the CV template as a Word file.
Four hours and 15 minutes covering chest pain, sepsis, kidney and electrolytes, thyroid and calcium, asthma and COPD, and hypertension, with a 39-page key takeaways handout.
Register anyway. Every registrant receives the recording, sent up to 48 hours after the live event ends, with access for the period stated for each event. You get the same teaching whether you attend live or watch after.
